"If your quad creates more thrust per motor at hover then the plane can around 60-70% throttle (im assuming) then I think the quad might only be a little phased if not at all and might still hold decent handling.
What size quad and plane are you…"
"By Spaz Out I mean it will go haywire. Anyway, if you have GPS lock on, then yes it will try and maintain its coordinates. If you just keep your quad in auto stabilise, and have the rear thrust on, then it should be fine if everything manages to be…"
"GOOD NEWS! I just got an ImmersionRC Uno 2.4ghz receiver and everything works perfectly! I took a limb and assumed the Lawmate RX was the issue (I had no way of checking if the TX or RX was broken as I had no others to test with), and so told…"
"if you wired the extra motor straight from the receiver and controlled it using some knob or whatever channel on your transmitter, then your extra motor will be completely independent from the rest of your main flight systems and your FC. Your FC…"
"GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!.....Hobbyking accepted my refund request and added the credit to my account. And whats more, I don't have to send the item back!! Certainly made one customer very happy!!"
"lol, also, Lawmate is apprently really widely used in FPV. since thats the case, should they have some sort of standard pinout, giving reason as to why so many people use them without seemingly so much hassle. "
"No Cable came with the receiver. The one from the screen is pre-wired to it, and coupled to an XT60 input for power. It seems to be quite a huge hassle for something so small. The weirdest part is, in the manual that Hobby King's DIY FPV V2 Goggles…"
"Haha, I've tried 1...and 2. I didn't know lawmate had english speaking customer support. Trying out fpv labs now. Anyways, thanks for your help so far, at least I got somewhere "
"soz about the long replies in the thread. If you don't mind, could you have a read through and let me know what you think/if you have any ideas? Cheers!"
"I think I may have a lead on the problem. I think it is to do with the weird AV pin out Lawmate accepts/recieves vs. the AV arrangement of the Quanum DIY FPV V2 goggles. Note that these two accept those headphone jack style 2.5mm connectors for AV…"
"Hi Clifton,
Im pretty sure. The channel 1 (2410 Mhz) position for the TBS Unify 2G4 VTX is all dip switches down. For the Lawmate RX-2460 VRX, channel 1 (2410 Mhz) is no.1 dip switch down, all other dip switches up.
Also, Im not using any boscam…"
"Hi Michael,
Im pretty sure I've got my voltages right. All equipment is rated for 5v. No 12v FPV circuits - makes wiring so much easier. Also, the OSD video in/out side runs on 5-12V. And in my minimosd derivative, either the 5v from the telemetry…"
Hello fellow Singaporean FPV'ers, I've run into a severe roadblock in my long range quadcopter build where my 2.4Ghz FPV system refuses to sync. A thread on this issue is here…
"Hi Clifton, I've even tried connecting the vtx straight to the camera and BEC, without the OSD in the middle, and I still didn't manage to get a signal. Hence ruling out the possibility of the OSD being the problem.
