About Me:

Aerospace engineering graduate from IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India. First year out of university, currently working as a Research Assistant in fields related to simulating cooperative missions of MAVs.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I am currently working on building an HILS framework for cooperative missions for multiple MAVs using opensource tools. Also, an amateur UAV enthusiast.

"Xbees in API mode have the benefit of accepting/rejecting packets based on the packet address by themselves, passing only the correctly addressed packets to the autopilot. If you use some other module which cannot do this, then the autopilot would…"

"Hi!
I am running your pymavlink HILS with px4. The hils works great in manual and seatbelt mode but nose dives continuously (with its wings level) in AUTO mode.
Lorentz Meier suggested that it might be due to the fact that airspeed scaling is…"

Hi!I am trying to artificially give airspeed voltage to APM AI0 pin using a Digital to Analog converter. The digital values are coming from JSBsim and are converted to voltage in DAC(0 to 2 volts) which is connected to AI 0 pin on APM 2.5.When I use…

"Hi Ernesto!
This guide used ArduPlane, not arducopter. I remember there was a slight 'missmatch' between the 'config.h' files of ArduPlane and ArduCopter. You are right, in your current state the setup will ignore  #definee TELEMETRY_UART2 ENABLED.…"

"@Scott: I used two at the same time for HIL simulation. Instead of using uart0 though i used the usb(they both are muxed internally, so it really doesn't matter which one you use)."

I want to use any channel other than channel 8 for mode switching on PX4. I am running APM2.7 on PX4 and everything is working fine except that my radio receiver PPM signal gives on 7 working channels (verified on MissionPlanner) while channel 8…"

I was able to make and run ArduPlane2.70 on APM2. It also compiled and uploaded successfully on PX4, but I got this error on Nuttx:

"Cool stuff!

Could I get a hint as to how I should go about accessing UART2 on APM2.5 with the HAL library included ?
In the earlier version with the fastserial library, the port was already initialized and it was a simple matter of using Serial3,…"

Does anyone know how to set guided waypoint on QGCS for APM the way we do by clicking on the map 'Fly to here' on APM MissionPlanner. I have to use qGCS because i need a gcs that can handle multiple MAVs simultaneously.Thanks.
