"Is PWM Rssi (Frsky) still supported by MinimOSD in the new version of MinimOSD Extra ?.. ie: the original mod which inolved soldering onto the MinimOSD ?

"I don't think the APM can handle PWM RSSi, others have used a mod on MinimOSD to handle it direct for FPV work.. (MinimOSD Extra http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/adding-extra-functions-to-minimosd),
