About Me:

I am currenlty a Field Engineer in the semiconductor industry. I am a U.S. Navy Submarine Veteran of 6 1/2 years and I enjoy designing and building model ships and submarines. I have been designing, manufacturing, and testing various full scale submarines and ships of my own design for several years. I have since moved on to RC Airplanes and hoping to move into Quads this summer.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I recently started to get intrigued by drones over a couple years ago when I was researching designs for a submerged autopilot system. The MQ-9 Reaper peaked even more intrest so I did some research into General Atomics and the idea behind UAVs and I've been hooked on it ever since.

"I was just checking out the design (which I like very much by the way) and was wondering: How does your center of gravity change with the gimbal and camera in such a forward position?  Are the forward arms angled sharper to the front to counter the…"
