I just made a bet with some local professional jammer manufacturer who is too confident with their product.
I'll take them out if I can manage a flyaround over their premises.
Their product is no joke though. As far as I could understand, it scans the entire spectrum and jams the suspectable frequencies but obviously there's something more to it which they won't tell me.
I've thought of below ideas for flight over a jammer-proteced zone. I'll be obliged if you could share your ideas:
1-) Using a 27 or 40Mhz AM/FM remote (the jammer may detect this but won't hurt to give it a try)
2-) Cable remote (there are 4gr/m cables)
3-) Infrared controller (can be modified for long range)
4-) Computer vision?
5-) Trying u-blox M8 3D Dead Reckoning GNSS chips (no idea how they perform or if manageable with arducopter)
6-) Autonomous flight without GPS and radio control (e.g. command Arducopter to take off, climb to 100m (barometer) fly north for 10 sec at 15m/sec (air speed sensor + compass), fly west for 5 sec. etc. I'm not sure if this is possible for arducopter.

Hi Eugene, you may investigate -- as Jordan hinted at -- dead reckoning. It would be enough to fly over their airspace (combined with RF shielding). Have a look at the inertial nav code in the APM code - https://github.com/ArduPilot/ardupilot/tree/master/libraries/AP_Ine... . Keep us posted!
Our model club is adjacent to a site that has been operating 2.4GHz jamming on and off for the past 3+ years. In my testing the only 2.4GHz RC that was immune is the Corona DSSS. I have also been thinking about this for some time. What about putting several GPS receivers on top so as to be shielded from below and different directions.
Why are they allowed to transmit at those high powers and those commercial spectra but drones are regulated!

If they start jamming based on measuring near suspicious transmissions and not full time (FCC would not be happy about full time jamming everything) you could probably do it if your craft does not emit any recognizable RF signal. I use openLRS (on 868Mhz) without telemetry enabled and only emitted signal is 2.4GHz video. If you can fly without video feed, and data telemetry their system may not "hear" you.
Using airplane would be probably safer as it can dead reckon itself for a while just by means of inertia and aerodynamics.
I think one manufacturer uses microphones and pattern matching to detect propeller sounds, then you would be screwed. If they use radar to detect incoming craft, same.
Notice that most of these systems are directed towards DJI off the shelf stuff. With ardupilot and specific setup, you may be much more successful than they would admit.
I would take a laptop with RTL-SDR near their building and scan the band. Than you can try to power up your RC radio and scan again. Than try analog video system and scan again. This way you may find out how to trigger their system and act accordingly.
I will bet they are not ready for good old 40Mhz system. They will probably be ready to analog video transmission as its pattern is easily recognizable.

no problem IR Lasers, laser diode array etc. Main problem is optical modem design in my opinion

80m for a camera! How about an IR receiver? I know that simple TV-B-Gone kit can kill a TV from 150 ft. Now imagine an array with properly designed LED driver?
