PC as a RC Transmitter

Is it possible to use a linux pc as a rc controller?

Could a wifi dongle be used for communicating with a regular rc receiver? They both operate with the same frequency.

If the wifi dongle is not suitable, then could a JR module for a specific receiver

Can OSD be added to the HDMI video feed as it would be very helpful when flying FPV. As it is you have to take off your goggles and look at the tablet if running app or look at controller to get this telemetry.
