I am testing the PX4flow together with Pixhawk, and it seems to require 3D Fix before arming in Loiter, even though EKF_GPS_TYPE = 3 and geofencing is disabled.
Could this be a new bug due to the new feature of not being able to disable GPS p
Does anybody know where I can get more information on redundant radios on the pixhawk using the two telemetry ports? Two 3DR radios, 2 RFD900+ radios, or any combination of the the two to allow full comms with the aircraft in case of fail
I've been using a HobbyWing Quattro 4-in-1 ESC all year for my test quad. It has worked very well, however reviewing the manual while installing another in a new copter, it states:
Throttle signal loss protection: The ESC will reduce the output power
This quad has worked fine, but would act flakey sometimes too. I thought I had narrowed it down to the cheap hobby king camera generating noise. I wrapped it in copper and things seemed to be working good.
So my custom built hexacopter crashed during an autopilot flight. This was after two successful autopilot missions on the same day. Everything seemed to be working fine. I am running a pixhawk with 3.3? firmware I think (I updated it about 2 weeks ag
My quadcopter suddenly lost control and crashed. Fortunately it fell from low altitude and after some tape it flew without problems just minutes later.
But this crash is bugging me, I am not confident (for obviuous reasons).
I work for a radio broadcast company, and I've been wondering about the use of drones to inspect the tower and mounts of antennas and other gear mounted up there.
Few days back we were flying our Tarot 680 copter in Auto mode. We have flown several time with the same setup with no problems. But on that day even though the battery was fully almost completely charged but it was showing in red on mission
i have been trying to get plane going for a long time and keep having the same problem. i fly in manual mode so it isnt a problem with flight control. the throttle acts as though the signal is intermittent. half second on, half sec
I am pretty new to all this, but I have a problem with using 'Make' to compile the ArduPlane code in Eclipse for my Pixhawk. I have been following the directions on this page:
....thought I was all set. installed servo type gimbal and wired to pixhawk aux rc9 and 10. config on mission planner ......angle limits, etc. All "dialed in" and working great. Taranis ch6 for "tilt" control. All tests fine.....as long as I'm (
Hope you guys are doing great and best of your health. Currently I am working on a research project title " Follow me on GPS with obstacle avoidance " .
I am wondering if any one did soem work related to what I am doing and provide me
I am connecting Mission Planner to IRIS via 3DR radio. Setting at COM3 (given by my PC), 57600 and press CONNECT. Warning message is “No Heartbeats packets received”. I am using Windows 7 OS. In the Window
I would like to share with you my latest updates regarding a Matlab interface that I have been developing, called MatMav. The tool allows the user to monitor and command Pixhawk loaded with PX4, APMcopter is not supported yet. The tool can be
Hi All, I am a newbie trying to build a hex s550 kit from HK, it came with Emax 30a BLheli opto's and I am having nothing but trouble with the calibration, at varying stages I had most of them running in synch - but never all 6! 1 just wouldn't run s
at the moment I'm using a Tarot 650 quadcopter with DJI motors, ESCs (E300) and the DJI Naza V2 for taking orthophotos (GoPro). The copter belongs to a friend of me who has built it himself. Unfortunatley this friend is going to move away th
