"How do you like the motors? I am using MT2814 710KV, they weigh 120g. I driven them at 5S generating 2500g thrust with 13x6.5 props! Ran smooth and absolutely cool. Occasionally, one of the motors rings when accelerated."

They weigh in at around 100grams and with a 13*4 prop will stay cool at 1900 grams thrust. Very little vibration, and well built for the price. "

"Agreed, just trying to wrap my head around how a gust would effect a flexible wing. I was thinking that a frontal gust might make it pitch up and reduce the washout. The force of the gust could flatten the wing taking the twist out it. So less…"

"If you moved the rubber mounts to the sq. tube it would be easy to wrap a safety band around the mount and sq. tube. AGL Hobbies had a CF mount and used grommets on the motor mount screws, but abandoned it. Think he said it was not very effective…"
