I have a Telemaster PLUS Ive built for aerial observation and general loitering above a target. Ive maidened the plane and have the autopilot/OSD installed. Im planning on using a ball turret gimbal that is designed for the sony block camera (sony fc
Im wondering how I can maintain a specific GPS groundspeed during an auto flight without the airspeed sensor. Is it possible? Or am I missing something?
Gents, Im having a bit of a problem finding the info, and I know its around here somewhere! LOL.
Can someone point me to info regarding syncing the APM clock to my cameras clock, and how to merge the APM's gps points to the photos in post production?
Id love to get an idea what people are using for their aerial mapping Canon cameras. I have the Canon S95, which usis optical image stabilization (OIS). This means the lenses are floating and move around in a very finite level to adjust for your hand
Im completely fed up with this system. I purchased it for one reason: to make a mapping rig. Now Im slowly finding out that the main feature I desired, to have the camera take a picture at the waypoint via the "trigger when 3m from waypoint" in the s
Ive now done 6 test flights with no luck. Im trying to use the camera shutter option (in the standard parameters) called trigger when 3m from waypoint. But so far, no luck.
Before we go any further, I'll say that my triggering setup works, and will t
I'm having a consistent problem (confirmed by another user) that GRID V2 will not fill in the polygon with points. Instead, it only fills in the 1st 3 waypoints, then back to home.
Is this a bug? FYI, standard GRID (V1) works fine.
Ive noticed that GridV2 does not fill in all the waypoints in a polygon, usually only the 1st 3, then returns to home. Standard Grid works and fills in the defined polygon.
Im starting to wonder why I spent the time with APM and the arduplane software. There are some serious shortcomings that Ive brought to the attention of devs and Chris, but I feel like my issues are falling on deaf ears. Ive spent the time and money
im trying to add a mount configure DO command to retract my mount, but I cant write the waypoints with the command in line. it says its not supported...
I'm at my wits end here. I've put out 4 posts for help in the forums and no one has responded. I've written 2 developers and no response. I will literally pay someone $20 if they will take the time to help me understand what I'm doing wrong.
I cant for the life of me understand how to switch my gimbal mount control from gps point to retract in the mission planner. Im setting it as DO_Mount_Configure in the command drop down in the waypoint tab, but Im lost from there.
I just hooked up my 3DR radio units and the link was great, then disconnected and reconnected and the link stopped, now, one unit will not connect or update in any way.
It blinks green and red when connected to the apm, but only blinks green and very
I have the APM power module which I understand will supply power to the APM, and Im also understanding that I can't just plug in the servos to the outputs because I run the risk of pulling too many volts and causi
