Greetings, I have a Pixhawk flight computer on my quad and want to take advantage of it's shutter control.  To date, we've been using a GoPro and just leaving it in a simultaneous video and pic mode to do photos and videos.  I'd really like to mess…

Michael Saathoff replied to Michael Saathoff's discussion GoPro Shutter Trigger on 3DR Solo

Greetings, I've been looking at some of the features of the new 3DR Solo and one of them appears to be integration with the GoPro platform.  I'm curious if anyone knows how it integrates?  I'd like to have remote shutter and mode controls but I…

Michael Saathoff replied to Volta Robots's discussion NEW 2016 - 4Gmetry III - turnkey telemetry over 4G, plug&play. in Telemetry over cellular IP
"VPN is your answer to the firewall question. You'll need dynamic DNS for your vpn devices to see each other as well as rate shaping to prioritize telemetry data over things like video especially with weak links. Keep in mind this will introduce…"

Michael Saathoff replied to Kelvin Tan's discussion Kickstarter long range hd fpv and telemetry - too good to be true?
"I was an owner and operator of a WISP about 10 years ago (ironically only about 50 miles from Gavin's market) and a telecom director of operations thereafter, I can say for certain the premise of what he's proposing is not only possible but…"
