been interested in them ( drones )way before they were popular, friend had one years ago that seemed harder than a helicopter to fly. i said one day they will be easy to fly.

"i tried the latest FW earlier , few weeks ago, but it would not take,,it would show BAD BRD TYPE .. i was unable to correct, so i reverted back to my old version of FW,, and i recalibrated everything as well.

"what is wooow instability ? - the unit oscillated as it went down.. there was none before hand, i keep my props in exc. condition and very balanced. i use a prop balancer, and i also spin then on a motor at different speeds..

i have a Iris+ and it has the pixhawk board in it.3DR is no more help.anyway i had just updated MP, and since then my camera Gimbal is not working. and i have not been able to find any help anywhere.... i have posted in a few areas of the forum here…

"try this... go thru your "set up" in the mission planner.. go thru all the steps til you get to the power section of the set up..

if swapping motors does not fix it, it may be the ESC.
have you tried motor speed calibration yet ?

"sounds like one of the phases in your motor is burned out or damaged.. try another motor, if that is not it, then the esc may be damaged,,"

it could possibly be a defective sensor in the PX4..
