"Gothelirc.com is where I got my gimbal. Performs great for the price. They have 3 axis and multiple camera plate widths now to choose from as well."

"@Jared. Um really? I'm a research biochemist at a medical school, pretty sure I'm very comfortable with SI units. That doesn't mean my family or my clients need to convert units in their head while watching me fly. It's not that hard to add feet for…"

"I second the Nex5 recommendation.  I am running a 6s carboncore hexacopter and using the nex5.  60fps 1080 video is 60fps 1080 video, the nex7 has a larger sensor for still pics, but they both take excellent video.  the nex5 has the same lens…"

"Mike, you're amazing!  Everything works perfectly.  I know this seems a simple fix for you but I wouldn't have found it for a long time.  I also just physically reversed the servo and the flaps are looking great.

Thanks so much!"

So ya, finally got my SW all built.  The system is built like this:(EZUHF > ppm sum out to > APM2.0 (powered by 5v bec on output8) > servos (chan1-7)So ya, on bootup all 4 wing servos work fine, but after 10-15 seconds only channels 1-4 continue to…

I am configuring apm2 on my Zephyr2.  I have the throws down to about +-35% on my futaba9c.  In mission planner I configure, and then set the endpoints for each channel.  I save and boot up the plane in manual mode... reduced throws work perfect!  I…

So I had the following setup on my benchtop and ran into a snag.  I want to verify that there are no issues from the APM side of the hardware loop. Problem?  RcRx stopped operating after being powered (by 5.0V DC on the RcRx and 5V from USB on the…

Is there a way to trigger/jump to a new navigation command based on a low MAH level or voltage drop?  I'm wondering about this as a safety measure for high altitude / long range flights over the corn fields here.  The type of behavior in which I'm…
