"Sorry i haven't seen this earlier. There's no particular reason other than convenience or actually finding a place to put it. But I've just started another build and mounting this one right side up. When working with limited mounting area it's nice…"

GadgetGeek replied to Nicholas Witham's discussion Pixhawk-lite vs PX4mini vs pixfalcon
"The only thing that the Picfalcon is missing is the dual GPS inputs and also RC outs, which you would use for something like gimbal control or landing gear through the FC. You can still use a gimble or landing gear. I'm not sure if the Xracer has…"

"Depends on the crash. I've had a few minor ones. It held up okay. I had the plastic 3DR mast before and that didn't last long, hit branch, damn trees"

"Does the XRacer have a dampened internal imu? Also, what about barometer or barometric sensors? There's no case on this, I would think the prop wash would be a slight issue. I tried the HK pilot 2.7.2 which worked but i had issues with the barometer…"

"Don't buy the Pixfalcons from bangood, there's a post about it somewhere. I posted a link of the one I bought. The quality is excellent, I'd say it's as good as the 3DR quality. But again, watch out for bangood and a few other Chinese knockoffs."

"Being a APM and then Pixhawk fan, I like the Pixfalcon. It pretty much has everything you need for a race spec quad and is only slightly bigger than a cc3d. I've alway had good luck mounting my autopilots upside down and then changing the settings…"

"So? Has anyone accomplished this build yet? Seems strange that dys would mass produce this without a solution for the best mass produced FC."

GadgetGeek replied to Nils Heidorn's discussion APM 3.2.1 Very bad Loiter, how to "debug" ? Any hints ?
"Did you ever get any help with this issue? If you did please post your results. It's hard to believe you didn't get any response here. I haven't had this exact issue before but I had experienced the "toilet bowl effect" on my first build. I got away…"
