If you've been out racing, or used cleanflight, you've probably heard of the iLap racing transponders.  These racing transponders allow racers to be timed around the track using infra-red.The open source community has begun producing free lap timing…

Really interested in this project! Been thinking about doing the same thing with an stm32 board I'd made but you've beaten me to it!

I'm actually based in Portsmouth.. You seem near?"

Gareth replied to Randy's discussion Copter-3.3 beta testing
"Hi

My pixhawk accel calibrates fine on 3.2 but refuses on 3.3rc8.  Could this be linked to the acceleration sensitivity being increased?

Thanks

HiMy pixhawk calibrates the accels fine on 3.2 but fails on 3.3-rc8.  I note in the release logs that the sensitivity was increased to 16g - could this be related?  Were the tolerances also updated? Many thanksGareth

Gareth replied to CensoredUser ExWikiNinja aka KF's discussion APM2 repair options (fried APM2 board)

I might be able to repair this for you - I'm based in the UK.  Although obviously I'd charge for it - if its just a single component then 20 EUR plus postage (probably around 5EUR) and parts (diodes are less than 1EUR, voltage reg about…"

Gareth commented on Gareth's blog post AC3.1 Performance and Custom LEDs
"Thanks for the info Randy.  That'd be quite a useful tool - it might also be useful to collect data on GPS 'glitches' and see what filter might eliminate the sudden fly aways.
Best

"Roberto

You'll be wasting your money splashing out for a NAZA without fixing this problem - you'll have the same thing happen.  I've been plagued with fall out of the sky failures over the last few months - it was a bad solder joint (in fact,…"
