Josh Welsh replied to Randy's discussion Copter-3.3 beta testing
"Hey Randy,

I thought on boot, the autopilot was setting the gps's baud rate back to 38400, regardless of what was already set via uCenter.  Is that not accurate? I'm very likely mistaken, but don't know how to read the code well enough to verify on…"

"Without knowing the specifics of those components, I think the logical choice would be as you describe.  You can always plug it in and check the radio cali screen to see what's what."

"Sounds to me like your receiver isn't bound.. The colors on the calibration page can be green but that just means the receiver may just be outputting failsafe values.  The green bars will change w/o going in to calibrate mode, so, if you're moving…"

"I don't know.. I haven't tried the AT firmware yet but plan to week after next.  My challenge, though, is that I intend to do it on a USB-tethered APM.  I hope it works."

Apologies if I missed it... are you running FPV, and by chance is it 1.2/1.3GHz?"

Josh Welsh replied to Randy's discussion AC-3.1 autotune support discussion
"George,

To echo Randy's point, the RCx_TRIM is important in this case as it tells the copter when you're not requesting any angle demands of the copter, and the copter won't engage AutoTune if it thinks you're trying to re-position (a lean demand…"

Josh Welsh replied to Randy's discussion AC-3.1 autotune support discussion
"Hey George,
ch7 on a knob is fine.  Also, yes, you're arming in to AutoTrim mode.  You should only need to yaw right about ~4 seconds.  You will see a Gyro Cal light pattern emit in 3.2 where the arming light flashes quickly a few times between red…"
