Robert Cook replied to Tony K's discussion Mission Planner for Windows 10
"So I figured it out.
MP does work on my tablet under W10

The reason the program locked up on mine is because I had removed an SD card which was the location of the log files.

MP expected it to be in a location which no longer existed.

I would…"

Robert Cook replied to Tony K's discussion Mission Planner for Windows 10
"I still cannot get MP to quit hanging on start up.

My notebook is an 11"  convertible and the main C: drive is SSD in the screen, and only if the hard drive in the detachable keyboard is connected will MP run.
On W8 I had no problems with ejecting…"

"That will be interesting. Both my computers were win8 to win10 upgrades. Why one worked and not the other I don't know. Look forward to seeing how you go."

Robert Cook replied to Tony K's discussion Mission Planner for Windows 10
"On my desktop it works as before. But on my notebook it no longer works. It hangs at the start up screen.
I tried to reinstall latest and got the same cannot install driver issues as you show Tony.
Funny really when it worked perfectly before and…"

Robert Cook commented on Roberto Navoni's blog post VR Brain 5 (PRO) vs VR Micro Brain vs Pixhawk
"Hi Raymond. Thanks for your reply. Yes I have looked at the PX4. I would like something smaller. Its bigger than the APM and there are a few who managed to shrink it. The VRBrain looked promising in that respect. Maybe it can't be done, but here's…"

Robert Cook commented on Hai Tran's blog post Customs seizes 80k worth of Drones
"Rob, Agreed, good points. The exporter certainly had time to find out.
Since there are many items which are Duel Use then proof of use would be the issue. I mean if a laser tube is listed and people ship them everyday, then how does one prove it's…"

Robert Cook commented on Thomas J Coyle III's blog post Please Don’t Be the One to Get Drones Banned
"I hope the sub 2kg category does get past here in Australia.
But there are still too many idiots ignoring basic safety. Like on the safety sheet that comes with the 'drone'.
Too many people posting examples of stupidity on the 'show us your video…"

Robert Cook commented on Hai Tran's blog post Customs seizes 80k worth of Drones
"Looks like an overreaction to me. These were not military drones.
A 1996 law - man it looks like we finally discovered it!
I take it that these could come under the 'Dual‑use' category? You would expect to be able to show use as part of the…"

Robert Cook commented on Roberto Navoni's blog post VR Brain 5 (PRO) vs VR Micro Brain vs Pixhawk
"Hi Roberto

I guess what I was looking for was something smaller than the Pixhawk, with at least all the inputs on the APM, and the better code features of 32 bit.
So I find it disappointing that the micro cannot read current and voltage at the same…"

Robert Cook commented on Roberto Navoni's blog post VR Brain 5 (PRO) vs VR Micro Brain vs Pixhawk
"Roberto
I like the smaller form factor of both the mirco and Pro compared with the Pixhawk. Good for small wings, and quads.
I like the micro especially for this reason.  But I did not realise it could not read current (if I read your matrix…"
