"@ChrisSome additional comments to RS485Using RS485 beside RX and TX you need a portpin for tranceive enable. RS232 is a point to point connection, RS485 is thought for multipoint communication."

"The bad thing: 9150 has only I2C support. A MPU9100 with SPI support seems not to be planned.
(That's a pitty, because it's pin compatible to the MPU6000, so.. easy to upgrade)

I don't think that the speed of the present available ESC is really a bottleneck,
The only wrong thing is the low pass filter in the software. With reflashing them (e.g. with SimonK Software),
you can tune up their speed.
