"Hi David,
I have the Pixhawk 2.1 installed and will be trying out tomorrow.  The biggest issue was the top shell of the IRIS was not quite tall enough to accommodate it.  I had a spare top shell from when 3DR sent all initial buyers an upgrade…"

Bruce Parmele replied to David Tipping's discussion iris+ to Pixhawk 2 in IRIS
"I was searching for this same thing. I have just disassembled my Iris(Development model) to see if this is possible.  From what I can see so far, it looks like it is very doable. Wiring shouldn't be to bad.  Have you swapped yours yet?

Bruce Parmele replied to Christian Elsen's discussion 3DR: You need to recall IRIS!!! in IRIS
"I am quite happy with my D.E. Iris and 3DR.  I probably have around 70 flights on mine and have only crashed once into a rodeo bull pasture(without damage) but that was my fault as I had somehow turned off Fail safe and lost RC signal.  good luck. I…"

"I've tried to find this answer in the 310+ pages with no luck.
Is the motor spin on arm option available in RC5?  If so, how do I enable it?
Thanks !"

Bruce Parmele replied to Randy's discussion AC3.1 & blown 3.3V regulator (was AC3.1-rc5 SPI speed problem)
"RC5 is looking good on my APM 2.6.  My first attempt at Autotune ended in a crash - Looks like 3 meters is not a good starting altitude. 10 - 15 worked much better. Definitely need a nice big open area.  Altitude hold and loiter are great! Stab mode…"
