"Thanks Phil.I am interested in setting up a battery swapping mechanism and velcro wouldn't be the best solution, I think. Do you know if the HK 3S could be inductively charged? Thanks again for taking the time to reply. Arturo."

"Arturo, I don't think this battery is at all suitable for an arducopter. The outputs are USB. Most arducopter run on 3S batts that have 11.1 Volts. USB is about 5V. Why not just get an HK 3S pack that already has XT-60…"

Hi Arturo,

Tanks for your interest.

Project SWAPPER is on the hold for another 2 months. We are updating our objectives.

We have done 2 years of priliminary recherche and testing on the following aspects:

QUAD precision landing capacity

On board mechanical landing assistance

QUAD ground landing plateform mechanical assistance

On board SWAPPER mechanical concept characteristics

Ground SWAPPER mechanical concept charactéristics.

SWAPPER Electrical battery transfer contact and electronic noise reducer.

Mobile QUAD landing platform concept

FPV navigation support.

So there it is.

The project have attracted some interest since we have began.

Mainly for K3, K4 and K5 kids that need's to be remotivated in completing there grades.

With a major public organisation the project is being transform into a strategy to prevent drop out using drones and the associated technology.

It goes under the name off Drones motivation camp. and is due to start on January 2013.

As for the SWAPPER, we are now talking with 2 engeneering firms as for the ardware aspects.

Sory for my bad english. My main language is French.
