Loiter bounce erratic motor behaviour !

Hi guys my f450 is now in the air as a test bed for Apm 2.5 and flys extremely well in stab mode !Now trying to sort out my loiter mode : when I engage it we have a slight dip down and then starts to bounce descending and climbing not too alarmingly , and you can hear the motors pulsing up and down to make this happen ? Position seems to hold but alt is a problem . Any help for a solution is appreciated .DarronSee More

"You should only have one movement with one stick in the Mission Planner radio calibration screen. Radio TX should be set in Acro (airplane) mode for APM. Also make sure you are in Stabilized mode to confirm flight controls. Are your stick…"

Apm 2.5 flips / values on rudder seem ?

Hi guys in my MP when I look at my values and movements all are fine exept the rudder stick, throttle up forward and backwards all move in sync but as soon as I touch rudder stick all values move as they should but do not return to centre as the other channels do ?? Surely they should centre or she would continue to spin ? would this be causeing my flips ?Any help would be great ... DarronSee More

"You also mention clicks on the transmitter it sounds like you have an airplane transmitter, which is going to be hard to fly copter with. You need a helicopter type transmitter, they don't have the racket set on the throttle. I had a flip…"

"Thanks for reply Richard ! Yes Apm facing to front props all turning and facing the right way , just seems over powered and vicious when sensors notice a change and boom over she goes !, X mode !"

"Sounds like either your APM is not faci g forward or your props on not in the correct order. Are you set for X or + config?"

Got an f450 at moment with 1000kv rc motors and kk 2.0 board and can fly reasonably and scare myself s------s at times ! I've got a Apm 2.5 coming soon and larger frame to put my gopro black on as soon as I've mastered the controller on the 450 frame I'll change her over ...... Great site Guys !
