Hi,Are the dimensions of the APM 2 Board somewhere written down?I just ordered the Hardware and to prepare the quad for the new board even when it Takes another 4 Weeks till arrival. Thanks MichaelContinue

"this is my prototype i soldered the usb cable direct to the board. importand is the shild of the usb cable has to go to the ground on the board. and the aluminium housing must be also connected to the ground. "

"Graham the length of the wire for 433 MHz depends on the Antenna type for Lambda 1/2 it is around 332mm for Lambda 1/4 166mm and for Lambda 5/8 415 mm. for a 915 MHz Antenna the length would be for Lambda 1/2 it is around 157mm for Lambda 1/4 79mm…"

"yes rc timer is delivering the 433mhz units with 2.4ghz antennas. i checkt the receive signal with a spectrum analycer and made a 1/4 lambda antenna by cuting a sma cable in a length of 16.4 cm"

Hallo Michael,

ich habe einen Hexacopter mit APM 1 im Eigenbau, bin aus Konstanz und absoluter Neuling.

Ich würde gerne mit Ihnen einige Erfahrungen austauschen. Da ich Neuling bin ist es warscheinlich anfangs etwas Einseitig, ich hoffe aber, dass sich das bald ändern wird und Sie nicht stört.

Mein Hex soll hauptsächlich für Videoaufnahmen sein und natürlich mit Spaß am fliegen.

Wenn wir uns evtl. auch mal treffen könnten würde ich mich freuen.
