Reaching out for help with the utility aspects of a new drone design. This is not the usual drone we're all use to. It's in the "selfie" drone realm but far beyond what's already out there. Struggling with the engineering of this project. The design
I am a new drone pilot. After purchasing my first drone (x13 Storm), I have become hooked on drones. So far, I have advanced my manual piloting skills using a controller where the left stick controls altitude and turning and the right stick
I need to connect my fpv camera and transmitter to 5v, can I just connect a BEC to my power supply and connect both the camera and transmitter to the BEC?
I am glad to be a part of this group and look forward to connecting. However, at the moment I want to get any feedback on your personal experience with DJI and based on my open letter I sent to the owner Frank Wang.
My goal is to take microquadcopters with LEDs, and assign each a specific pre-set flying pattern so they each spell out a letter of a word in the night sky on continuous loop.
I am new to UAV design and autopilot programming, but with some experience in quadcopter piloting. I am interested in breaking-into some autopilot programming. I am looking for suggestions for a quadcopter platform with multi-modality sensor
Hello everyone. This is not my first quadcopter build, but it is my first experience with the cc3d evo board. I have a couple friends using Cleanflight so figured I would give it a shot. My other build was as an APM mini 3.1 using mission planner so
May I ask the highly experienced people here if they are perhaps aware of a waterproof camera with a zoom greater than x5 that can be fitted to a waterproof drone to take pics both under water and in the air?
I am in the process of build an X8 plane using Pixhawk and am wondering what happens if flying a pre planned mission and the model transitions out of RC range on the extreme boundary of the mission space.
In the last 3 weeks my Skywalker flew about 600km's splitted in 40 different missions. In the last mission when the plane finished the last waypoint and entered in RTL, the plane did a very tight turn with nose down until crash on ground.
Unlike most descriptions that I can find, my GPS unit only has ONE cable coming from the GPS unit. I can't get the compass to calibrate in Mission Planner. All the points are clumped around a single spot far out in the periphery of the live calibr

If you need precise GNSS for your robots then you need RTK. If you don't know much about RTK, you may lose a lot of money (and hair) on weak RTK GNSS systems. I've written a post to show the beginner what they need for a super solid precision RT
