ausdroid commented on Charles Blouin's blog post Pacific Drone Challenge
"This is a joke.....right?

A competition with contestants organising their own authorisations to use the proposed fields and access international airspace? Isn't the whole aim of an organised event to have the organiser arrange these permits so that…"

ausdroid replied to Randy's discussion figuring out the Antenna Tracker
"Hi All, we have built our tracker and it works fantastically. We have two telemetry modules on the tracker which is controlled by a pixhawk.

The Antenna Tracker Pixhawk is able to pick up the plane and point to it.

The problem we have is that when…"

"Darren,
After a great deal of testing we have found that to get great imagery, you need a damped gimbal mount for the camera. We have been doing a great deal of testing with the Havok http://australiandroid.com.au/products/havok and a canon S110 and…"

We took the A44 Eaglet out for some pre-production testing on a beautiful day downunder and couldn't help but tell the rest of the world about it. We're soooooo proud of this little plane.

"Can I briefly take the discussion back to the M8N? I have bought one from FoxtechFPV and have found it much less sensitive the 3DR ublox indoors, but able to obtain more satellites outside.  Previous discussions have talked about the configuration…"

There are several reasons for teh butterfly pattern;

"Not sure. Haven't flown one, but looking at it, it doesn't have the angles wing tips that make it stable for beginners. Alternatively, just buy a $100 RTF from hobbyking and learn how to fly."

1) Building and flying a plane
2) The…"
