About Me:
I suppose my interest into copters and gliders goes right back to being a young lad but the more advanced stuff stemmed from robotics in college, and my research into inertial sensors and EKM filters. My day job is computer vision/ embedded software engineer for Valeo's automated parking group.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
From the building robotics, I enjoy putting all together and building new robotics things. A project called autopilot system in sourceforge, by Aaron D. Kahn was the key that started me into wanting to build a UAV. When this diydrones project first started up, i really was surprised how this project grew, and the quality of that design. So now i have a nice collection of hardware from old to new. I have build nearly 5 versions of quads/hexs boats now since 2011. First one consisted of diy frame, now i have a low cost carbon frame from china and low cost ESC and motors. Where will it end!
