I've been fascinated with Y6 designs for years and have been wanting to craft my own but never had the finances to do so. FInally came into some extra cashflow and want to put it towards a drone. I just became FAA certified and have been doing this commercially as a side hustle in tourism. I'll add though the RMRC batteries are very good and low voltage drop. The MS batteries are not made for high throttling much, but I got them for longer flight times.
You may want to check out the Multistar high capacity batteries from HK. I have a 10A 10c for my Spy Y6 and it seems to work fine; weighs the same as the RMRC 8A battery used on the Y6B.

You didn't mention what kind of flight time you are looking for but I have a 3DR Y6B that weighs 2.5kg on stock 10x4.7 props and I get around 9 minutes on 4S 6000mAH.
