About Me:

My brother and I are starting a project to take a small R/C glider to 100,000 feet with a helium balloon, drop it, and have it to return to the launch point autonomously. This is an ambitious project that we plan to take in with several smaller steps. My picture profile is of the R/C trainer (Eagle II) I learned on... after the rubber bands holding the wing failed about 100 feet up. The fuselage beat the wing down by a good 20 seconds. I think it will make a fine testbed though after a little reconstructive surgery. Although a foam aircraft might be even more forgiving...
