"The wingcopter should be able to carry a 10.000 mAh lipo if it isn´t heavier than 800g. The horizontal flight time is calculated by this measured data on this site at the bottom. The air speed there was very low, maybe around 10m/s."

"The rate controls for the quadrocopter are almost the same, even in the plane mode. There the flaps are working together with the motor controls. We just programmed them dependent on the tilt angle. It should be possible to update our code to the ne…"

"Hi! We are using a changed Arducopter version. Like you supposed the props are controlled during forward flight too. Theoretical it should be possible to fly the wingcopter in plane mode less the flaps."

"Thanks for the compliments! We took the Arducopter code and changed the motor outputs dependent on the tilt angle. The pilot has simply a knob to tilt the arms in to the angle he likes. The wincopter is fully controllable/flyable at each tilt angle…"
