"How would fail safe work when you are providing power via USB? This is not a bug."

Alex replied to Alex's discussion Battery failsafe not triggering
"Found the problem. For some reason the battery failsafe doesn't work when the USB port on the Pixhawk is in use. In my opinion that is a bug and hopefully it got fixed on later Arducopter versions."

Alex replied to Alex's discussion Battery failsafe not triggering
"Yes, it is a custom version of Mission Planner but only a minor change. Also the firmware is older version but was working well in other aircraft so I didn't want to fix what was not broken. The reason why the radio failsafe is disabled is it…"

Battery failsafe not triggering

Hi,I am an experienced flyer but this has me stumped, maybe one of you guys can help. The battery failsafe will not trigger even though the aircraft battery voltage drops to 1V less then the failsafe voltage while in flight. FS is enabled and set to RTL (I checked the pull down selection as well as the FS_BATTERY_ENABLE=2 parameter in the parameter tree)Aircraft is using a new Holybro Pixhawk running Arducopter 3.2.1. 6S setup on a large hexacopter. Failsafe set at 22.2V. Battery voltage shown…See More

Janis Kuze replied to Alex's discussion UGCS no manuals for DJI A3 or Lockheed Kestrel platforms in the group UgCS
"Kestrel and Micropilot systems are too specific and individual to have general manual. We work it out one-on-one with a client those. "

Artūrs replied to Alex's discussion UGCS no manuals for DJI A3 or Lockheed Kestrel platforms in the group UgCS
"Hi! Since Kestrel support is available only for Pro and Enterprise versions, those versions also carry user manual for Kestrel. You are right about the A3 manual, we will include information about this flight controller in the next releases. But…"

Artūrs replied to Alex's discussion UGCS with Pixhawk questions in the group UgCS
"Hi Alex, 1. Pixhawk is the hardware platform used to run either Ardupilot or PX4 flight controller software. UgCS is more expierenced with Ardupilot since that has been around for a much longer time. 2. As far as I know, Ardupilot does not support…"

Alex commented on estebanflyer's blog post Four modes switch for Futaba T6EX
"You can definitely use the menus in the radio to mix 2 position switch channel 6 into 2 position switch channel 5 to be able to select 4 different flight modes using the two switches. No hardware changes at all. I just did it and it works great. To…"

Alex replied to Randy's discussion ArduCopter 2.5 released!
"Dave, I'm flying a DIY tricopter.  It makes sense that the PIDs will need to change since the sensor signals generate the error term which is multiplied by the Kp, Ki terms to determine the ESC outputs.  If the sensor signals are…"

Alex replied to Randy's discussion ArduCopter 2.5 released!
"If your board had the scaling issue, fly with caution on 2.5.5, I have 2 broken props and I was careful!  You will need all new PID values."

James replied to Alex's discussion USB + LiPo power for APM2?
