"I'd only suggest that you consider that LEDs light is somewhat directional and can be fairly intense to look at straight on. Too many whites may only prove to disorientate. To take the edge off the intensity try putting them in ping-pong balls."

Nav light positions?

Besides wing tip green and red lights, a forward facing white light on the vertical stabiliser, where do the anti-collision lights go?I live under the main approach path to Adelaide airport (groan) and I've been taking photo's at night of light locations, every plane seems to be different!Any ideas? I need to run all the cabling before I skin the wings and tailplane.ThanksAndrewSee More

"Easy answer there Jean-Baptiste, Australia has the highest per capita uptake of technology. Wide open spaces, low population density make it a great place to fly UAV's or FPV. Australia has always been at the forefront of inovation."

This is what I've done to my Dagu Rover 5!

As it comes out of the box.

I was shipped the 4 motor version.

I live out here in the "boonies", so I get to talk to guys that use and maintain earth moving equipment.

There is even a guy that restores old tractors, stationary engines and such.

Talking with them was great, they all said powering…

I couldn't believe it when I found this site!

If you have a look at my photographs you will see my under construction aircraft.

It is 1200 mm long, 90 mm wide, 220 mm high.

Made from cardboard, balsa, 12 mm square aluminium extrusion tail boom.

It will be powered by an OS 28, with a pusher prop.

Weight at the moment is under 1kg, with no engine, canopy "glass", or radio gear.

The whole point of this aircraft design right from the start was
