Clever bumper Sticker?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Tim Wilkin Mar 5, 2013. 1 Reply

Has anyone thought up a clever bumper sticker for Pro-drones? Of course domestic and hobby drones. We must not use the predator or reaper as an example. I can't think of anything other than:- Don't…Continue

"Good to know, I don't have tricopter experience. I know he likes to use airplane type motors, so the disc motors should be a great efficiency boost. I'm still skeptical on the weight of only 0.9kg."

"I can't help but be skeptical of the 35min flight time. At 0.9kg with only 3 motors, it is definitely possible. However a GoPro and gimbal is around 200g minimum, so I'm sure 0.9kg without it. David Windestål's tricopter is…"

"Agreed, however 13 stops isn't as much as you may think. You need something more like the Red Dragon's 20 stops. Besides you will require grading the shots in DaVinci or Adobe Raw. It isn't plug in play. I know first hand."

"Evgeniy, I agree the 2804 isn't strong. However with the Alexmos controller I was able to get it to work fairly well with a 3-axis GoPro setup. The settings were high (like 150 power out of 250), which made it hot and very torquey. There…"

"I love it, being a gimbal designer myself. The way you have it open up is really well thought out. I'm a little surprised you used the 2804 on the yaw, it is a bit underpowered if you have wind resistance. I'm also surprised you…"

Hey DIYDrones community,

This year at NAB 2013 Las Vegas, the RED booth had an incredible display with a beautifully engineered 12-Rotor. It may be the first duodeca-copter of its kind. Its payload was the RED Epic with a custom carbon fiber gimbal and skids.
