"Mike, The switch inside the Runcam has four solder legs on it; the front two (closest to the lens) are in parallel and connected to the signal line on the PC board.  The rear two are also in parallel and connected to ground.  If you wanted…"

"I have a Runcam 2 with a faulty shutter switch. From your experience, is there any way to hack a new switch in to substitute for the bad one? I can solder decently, but I'm not quite understanding your explanation of the 4 legs of the switch on…"

"I had a problem with my Pixhawk flash card early on as well.  It worked for a while, then it stopped recording log files.  Turned out to be a bad card as mentioned above (I also had a knock-off pixhawk).  I read some other posts about…"

"I absolutely agree with Clifton.  Had I let the test run to completion (which would be the case if the transmitter really had failed) the copter would have landed and everything would have been fine.  Aborting the test is what created the…"

"" Bottom line - DO NOT live test the radio fail safe mode with a Frsky Taranis transmitter - Crap!" I wouldn't go so far as to say that.  I've tested this same fail safe with a Taranis X9E and a FlySky TH9X, but the…"

"Rich, I had disabled the switch checks already, but I think I like your suggestion better to leave all the checks on and just hit any button on startup to override the checks.  That makes more sense to me.  I also thought about making Pos…"

"Doug,  You have a couple of options with the Taranis radio: 1.) After turning on the transmitter with the throttle above zero you should be prompted for "Press any key to skip".  This will allow you to continue with whatever…"

"Thanks again for the inputs.  I turned off the throttle switch warning and the flight mode switch as well.  That should take care of it should I ever feel the urge to try this gain - not any time soon.  I should have my F450 back in…"
