"Ditto on the same setup, 3DR Hexa-B, 11X4.7. I encountered the same clearance issue between two of the props. What worked for me was to loosen the two arms slightly, shift them apart, and re-tighten."

First Flight - 3DR Hexa kit build - GoPro HD

 I built a 3DR Hexa-B / APM 2.5 from parts I picked up directly from 3DR here in San Diego. The whole build has gone super-smoothly. I have just a few flights under my belt so far- and all still under manual RC control. Today I zip-tied a GoPro HD to the hexa and took 'er up for my first video-enabled flight. I managed a nice shot of a bmx rider hitting some sweet jumps.See More

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
