Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I currently have a Spektrum 8 radio w/AR8000 receiver telemetry combo (with temp and altitude sense) 3DR Hexa w/880 motors, 11/4.7 props, sonar, optical flow, 900mhz XBee Telemetry link with custom made cases, and a GoPro Hero2 onboard w/5.8ghz video link into the Mission Planner HUD via USB->video capture dongle.

Hey Mike,

My RC Friend custom fabricated the landing gear out of carbon fiber and used struts, and it would probably be more convenient if you don't mind sending him an e-mail, he's more than happy to give you info on how he built it, and I told him you'd be emailing him.  He's e-mail address is hdtvtom @ yahoo
