2.0.29 and planner modes problem

i just loaded 2.0.29 and when checking status in APM Planner it shows mode as empty until i change to modes then it changes to loiter or auto.  i loaded code with arduino and use cli to setup…Continue

"Here is a Y6 with hextronic 16g motors.  I built it a year over a year ago and its still flying today.  I have 8 inch props with 2s lipo on them but they work better with 6-7 inch props and 3s lipos.  "

"I successfully updated my gps with 2bUpdateGPSBlinky.hex using your instructions.  Thanks for your hard work!  My setup is the same as yours except I have no JP1 installed I just power the apm2.0 board with usb only.  Thanks again."
