Export Mavlink GPS to tracker

Is it possible to export just the gps data to be read by the 'My Fly Dream' antenna tracker AAT module?Aim is to have greater range than the 1280mhz video tx audio channel will give, that is, use the 3DR 433mhz as the feed.I read the mavlink can be exported for 3rd party components but how & what format.(Also not sure how you would do the 'set home' button without the button on the plane)See More

3DR 433mhz Gps data for tracker

Hi guys,Im using the My Fly Dream tracker with the Telefly audio modem for the gps data (1280Mhz). This is the weak link. I am using 3DR 433mhz for Mavlink which seems a double up of equipment. So the question...is there an easy way to get the MFD AAT module to read the necessary tracking data from a 3DR radio/mavlink?ThanksSee More

Hi Troy,

The SW is ok for DTM work, but you'll definitely have to customise it.  It's a bit tight if you want to do anything professional.  A bigger airframe is preferable.

Thanks Rigel.

The Sw has one big plus and that is it can be deployed easily. I don't envisage many runways :) Having said that what bigger airframe would you consider. Looking at the pod, did you have to chop into the tail spar?

Thanks again Rigel.
