Automoated Flight Issues - APM2

Hi all,    I have made several automated flight attempts without success.    The copter performs as expected in other flight modes (Stabilize, RTL, Loiter, Alt_Hold).    When I switch into Auto Mode, the copter usually begins yawing and seems to follow the programmed waypoints very poorly, if at all. When I switch out of Auto Mode, the reference plane for the controls continuously resets itself.
