Thanks. I have done so. Let's see what reply I get. Also, I understand that Ardurover 2.50 is the latest production release. Can't seem to find the source on Github. Do you know where it is ? Thanks.
BTW: I believe you are spending…"

Matthew Reimer (the guy with the tractor setup) is using the vehicle's own gps, with no variation at 6 decimal positions he said.
In fact I think any GPS giving NMEA string to PX will work, so precision/accuracy relays on the GPS, not…"
Based on some threads a while ago I understood that waypoint accuracy in MP was 1m. Andrew stated that there was work in progress to bring this down to cm level to match some of the new higher accuracy RTK receivers. Does anybody know if this was implemented ? Are there other GCS programs that support cm level waypoint specification ? Thanks.See More
"Same problem. Something is wrong with 2.50. Used to work fine but now only circles. Someone with intimate knowledge of the changes made is the only hope. It is nice to know I am not alone. It not nice to know that it just stopped working."
"Same problem after it worked well for months. Reflashing 2.50 does not help. I set everything back to default. Then it works. Open source is fine until it does not work. Not sure pixhawk/APM is reliable for real use. Let us know if this helps. My…"
"I will put up some video later today. I tried some ideas including increasing the exf gps noise parameter but was not much use. Then I disabled the AHRS (set to 0) and the rover was much much more stable. I adjusted nav1 damping and period so it…"
"Compass_use is set to 1. Darius's idea of just using inertial heading between waypoints is interesting. Clearly I do it have to worry about wind drift - the machine weighs 1500 lb empty + max payload of 1500 lbs. But you need the gps to work…"
"GPS is a serialized communication device clocked at 1Hz, so you get 60 GPS fix values in a minute 60 values/2-3 meters so in practice you could disable GPS to not interfere with inertial heading.
In theory GPS plug-in (Javaschrift, shell…"
Work continues slowly on my monster robot. One of the problems is that it moves very slowly (2-3 meters/min) and I think it weaves because the gps heading varies a lot when moving slow. I think the compass/imu heading should be more accurate. It there any way in the pixhawk to change the relative weight of the GPS versus inertial heading. Any ideas ? I have gone over the excellent tutorial by TCIII on tuning the steering and it has helped a lot but not enough. Maybe there are some parameters…See More
"I found this very useful to decode MAVLINK messages from Pixhawk. Thanks. My latest problem is while this was very effective in reading data how can I set parameters on the Pixhawk using MAVLINK. In other words the reverse process. I have spent…"
"I got it to work. At least the first sonar. One of the issues now is - I can see and graph the first sonar but there appears to be no way to see the second sonar ! I cannot seem to get the CLI to work properly on the latest MP. It connects but then…"
"I have a parallax elev-8. It's an ok quadcopter with decent components but the Hoverfly board is pretty useless. The damn thing cannot take off by itself and forget about trying to hover without major user joystick input. The AR Drone is better at 1/4 th the price. Anyway since I bought the stupid thing, I would to convert the frame to an autonomous unit capable of flying a short GPS waypoint course and land to recharge. Any suggestions on what might be a good solution ?"
