8 Feb I purchased a $400 modified gopro. very prompt shipping.
~1 march the gimbal was completed , and we discovered that the camera just got hot, and did not work. I sent email to info@peau...
We did not had time for returns so I just ordered anothe
I wish to make it fly sideways between waypoints.
tried to set the yaw option to -90 and 90degree, waypoints, but it flies "forward" anyway.
Droneshare's playback was great for visualization, what other tools/services can play back .tlog or .BIN in a similar way ?
Google does not longer support the old methog this forum is using.
(I am able to write this only because this browser is still logged in.)
At some point, Droidplanner changed name to Tower, and suddenly seemed 3DR services - an additional application.
Beside the bloating of the phone/tablet with extra icons apps, , what good reason is there to need two separate applications ?

During tesing of motor-off recovery at safe altitude (60meters), the quad fell stright down, - propellers were spinning backwards, and motors stalled, not being able to turn in right direction.
At much too low altitude, the quad rolled, making 2 of th

For some AUTO missions, failsafe needs to be disabled. When the mission prohibits heading towards home from any point (could hit a mountain) or is expected to fly beyond reliable control range. Even momentary RTL can be disruptive for aerial photo m
It seems that stabilize, and FBW-A modes drops nose, and loses altitude.
While AUTR and RTL works perfectly fine.
What can cause this ? - Arduplane 2.73
Hi, Is there something that should be tuned/changes after upgrading as mentioned in subject ?
Especially during level flight, huge, rapid changes in RPM can be heard.
with lots of new snow, I decided to test recovery time needed to stop the fall if motors stopped during the flight.
I did it the way I see this accident to happend. - while in loiter, I took the throttle stick all the way down, for descend - then - s
Michael (& the team?) did great job on this one, as far as I could see, it works flawlessly on Mono, it's the first release in a long time that works perfectly fine.
Thank you - Keep up the good work
from 1.2.12 and till todays 1.2.15 - mission planner does not work well with MONO.
where are we heading ? Windows is not a viable platform this century.
Are there plans to get back to API's that work with mono, or, even better to compile a multi-platfo
This is strange.
Installed current Arducopter firmware on APM 2.5
Unlike my plane, when RX (PPM) loses signal, or is disconnected from APM - then the APM just freezes last RC input values, and so, fails to detect connection loss.
one of my APM 2.5 - it never flew, fails to init accel. - no red+blue blinking.
I found that the 3v3 line is 4.7v. , when powered with 5v over USB.
-Disconnected 3v3 regulator output . the 3v3 line is still 4.7 volt.
- something must be feeding it.
I discovered this when removing OSD's TX pin - APM 2.5 fails to boot if OSD is disconnected or it's TX pin disconnected. (MinimOSD)
By fails to boot - i mean no servo movement in manual mode, nor any movement when switching to other modes.
if booted o
after crashing into the sea, and losing one, I am trying to "understand" APM2.
Besides the compass mess. - I'd experienced something really strange a few times.
-I let it run on my workbench for hours, when I get back - the AHI is looping and/or rollin
Because of inverted compass, as described in another thread, my 3DR + brand new APM2 went down, and it took 5 days to get a SCUBA diver to get it (I sold my SCUBA equipment a while year ago)
I memorised the position where it went down by observing the
When the nose of my quad points south, the Planner (or copertGCS) say North. - all directions are good, but wrong.
The APM2 is mounted so that the SD card is in front left corner. - and GPS up, of course, do please don't ask that :)
it flies well, -
