Andy Horka commented on Thomas J Coyle III's blog post First UAV Near Miss with Ag Aircraft Reported in Pacific Northwest
"In Canada the rules from Transport Canada are simple, UAVs must get out of the way when a full sized aircraft is heading for the UAV. Not really sure how there can be a discussion? Why on God's green earth would an rc pilot not yield to a full sized…"

Andy Horka replied to Randy's discussion ArduCopter-3.2 beta testing
"Frank. The only thing I tried was to go back to 3.1 but the quad flew terribly. The impact made contact between the PX4 and a water pipe. Not sure if the PX4 is toast. Will do a few more tests first.
Thanks for your update.

Cheers,
Andy"

Andy Horka replied to Randy's discussion ArduCopter-3.2 beta testing
"Thanks Randy! Always good to know exactly what caused something. Would a full recalibration be ok or should I hold off on trying 3.2 on this PX4 again?

Cheers,
Andy"

Andy Horka replied to Randy's discussion ArduCopter-3.2 beta testing
"Never know, I was in stabilize mode. Will try to get the logs if I can, PX4 is beat up pretty bad. Copter hit an overhead water pipe in my studio. Might sound insane to test inside but imagine if this was outside! Yikes!!!"

Andy Horka replied to Randy's discussion ArduCopter-3.2 beta testing
"Well.....that was scary! The copter dropped, sat on the carpet idling motors not responding, was about to try to get the battery unplugged and the went to full throttle and smashed into the ceiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andy Horka replied to Randy's discussion ArduCopter-3.2 beta testing
"Just loaded 3.2 via mission planner onto my test quad with a PX4. Only test hovered inside but copter has become ultra twitchy. Anything that has to be change upon installation for a DJI 450 size quad frame?
3.1 was perfect but I really want to try…"
