# 1.4.06 * Move droneshare out of beta * Add support for localizing into german or other languages (need to convert a few more strings) * Register with Android as able to manage our own network bandwidth * Show follow-me as a checkbox (to make it more ob
Here's the new 10" specific layout for large format tablets...
Alas - I was super busy with work this week, but I wanted to get out this release with a couple of fixes (Rana, I still haven't found the cause of the UDP upload from tablet - I'll work on
Although this tablet works with Andropilot and I've added support for the built-in joysticks, I've decided that there are enough limits to the tablet that I can't really recommend it:
# 1.4.02 * Automatically resume droneshare uploads when network connection is attached * Report Rssi as the difference between Rssi and noise (which is really what matters) * Fix an autobug for phones that don't have the market app * Fix an autobug acces
Thanks for the folks that have been alpha testing this feature (and finding bugs). It seems to work pretty well, so I'm calling it beta and pushing a new load to the google servers (should be available for download in a few hours). Here's
I'm looking for some experienced andropilot users to give a new feature a try: sharing via droneshare. I've added slick G+, google earth and gmail links to (optionally) share your tlogs with friends and diydrones members.
Because I want to use a few features that are easier in that release. 0.2% of users of andropilot currently are using anything older than 4.0 (and I'm not sure if they are even really here).
If you are using Android 3.1 and this would cut you off, pl
# 1.3.02 * Add full support for the Archos Gamepad android device (see archos-notes.txt) * Update to latest parameter docs (AC 2.91b/AP 2.71) * Shut down FTDI more gracefully

A quick release to fix a couple of requests I forgot to include in 1.2.05:
# 1.2.07 * Scale down the gamepad inputs so they have more useful dynamic range * Fix gamepad elevator direction * Add support for multipane view on Note2 sized devices * Disallow
Some good bug fixes and cool new features (gamepad support should be tested only carefully):
# 1.2.05 * Gamepad support ready for alpha testing. Press Y to do RTL, press L1 to toggle fence mode, use the two joysticks like a RC controller, press start t
Or perhaps some bit of payload that comes across in some other mavlink packet?
I know practically nothing about the copter codebase and I'd like to start collecting some usage data to figure out # flying quads vs. hex, average flight times, etc...
# 1.2.02 * Add support for another FTDI device type * Display groundspeed on the overview * Allow editing waypoint advanced parameters * Add menu option to manually level an Arduplane (useful at the field sometimes)
# 1.2.00 * Add support for bluetooth serial links. Thanks to Pieter@diydrones for donating a bluetooth adapter for me to develop with. * Default to speech on for new installs * Cope with virgin APMs that don't have a GPS and therefore have no waypoints
