Hi i am a retired mech/elec tec I have programed a pic micro using code written using pic basic to control my home built quadcopter. this is flying ok now . I would like to add gps capability later and an interested to learn about DCM as a second controll layer I live on a boat in Greece

Yes the "wine" is ballast as have not yet plucked up courage to mount my nex-5 and gimbal yet!!

Same here no mast mount, gps on top plate clear sky view .
my top plate is made from copper clad PCB which is grounded
To act as a ground plain ( slightly stronger signal strength)
compass offsets are low ( battery slung underneath)
