Hey Michael,

Glad to hear you are doing better. I thought maybe I had made a bad guy list or something.

I know everyone handles this stuff differently, so I have a lot of basic questions:

I am too cheap for carbon, do you work with G10/FR4?

Do you work with balsa?

Do you have a good source for materials, or does the customer supply?

Minimum amount of work (part count, or dollar amount)?

I work with Mastercam, Featurecam, Solidworks, Mach 3, etc. What file type is preferred?

Do you treat files and concepts with confidentiality?

Are you in IL, an island, other? (I'm in KS, near Kansas City)

I try to sell a couple foamy airplanes sometimes, you can find some of my efforts at www.lightrc.com . I have a couple quad designs as well. I am fine with some stuff being open sourced, BUT, other stuff I would like to remain mine, as much as anything does. Right now I have an idea for a fixed wing UAV platform that would use some of the same parts as the "Structure" quad does(see lightrc). The basic layout is not different than many other designs, the underlying chassis is what I think could be special. Quads like the stryder, cda4, cdx4 I'm fine with publishing cad, as well as the profiles Slick 40 and yak 60 (you want to kit balsa profiles?).

I do have an 80 watt, 1200mm x 900mm CO2 laser, and I work with a Hurco VM10. These allow me to do a lot, but they are still not a router, or waterjet. or lathe...

So anyway,

Right now I would like to get a set of prototype panels cut for the "Structure". I have done a set in plastic (so I could laser them), but they are not flight worthy.  I would like them to be 1/16" or 2mm FR4, black or red.  I've included a pic of the parts in white plastic, the tubes are 12mm for size reference.

Sorry if I babbled too much, I'm very excited to hear from you.
