Tethered UAVs are used for long-term continuous operation. The driving motor is the core part of power, which must work within the rated power range. However, as far as I know, the empirical value of the lift/power ratio of rotorcraft generates about 5 ~ 10 kilograms of lift per kilowatt of power, but the power-weight ratio of the tethered motor is less than 1 kilowatt/kg.
