"Bart,   I have bias toward using the CLI (refer to wiki on how to go into cli mode) ... once in CLI, choose the menu that calibrate the minimum throttle level of transmitter ... might fix your problem ... by the way one of the menu also in CLI…"

"When i do this, i get all the right beeps (i think). But when i arm the motors 2 motors run at zero throttle. At first it was 1 motor, but after calibrating there are 2 motors running. what am i doing wrong?"

connecting RX on arducopter

Hi,

I'm on the edge of completing my Arducopter. Having a little problem with the RX.

Does it need a power connection or not. Didn't find any manuals in the Futuba-box.

I'm building the pre-soldered and tested kit and it includes ESC's with BEC.

Do i use the right pins to connect to the apm? (most left ones on RX block)

Ans yes i am a complete noob on building my own RC stuff.

 

Oh and another question: can i use any USB cable to connect to my…

Hi Bart,

Nice to have you as a friend. No, I do not have the plane in my Avatar. It is scout UAV used by the US Army and is very expensive. The closest that I have to that plane is the Maja from Borjet.
