"Thanks Peter, That looks like another fun project especially the emulator. To anyone, when we get a GPS lock, does that mean that we do indeed have a lock on at least three satellites? Over the weekend my first flight for the day was perfect.…"

"@ Fefenin, What is? “i'll try first the config tool mod by Happykillmore that allows to save and load missions” You posted on page 54. It gets old having to reenter all my waypoints each time I change flying fields. Is there another…"

"Doug, Are you unplugging the GPS? I'm still having to do that to upload."

"Yes, that was exciting. Thanks Far out question? I’ve seen some videos of these guys sending their UAV out on a run that’s like two miles out and back. Our radios don’t have that kind of range do they? I’ve always gone by the…"

"Just got here so to let you know, changing the radius from 20 to 40 was the fix, boys. Had a gorgeous flight this morning. Hit all waypoints and got home so quickly that I went around for another pass. 40 is not a bad number to start out with in my…"

"Thanks Chris, Well I’m not quite sure how to enable the telemetry, I mean I don’t have my Xbees yet or ground station setup. The way that it turns away from WP1, it sure looks like it found its mark and going to the next. I got the role…"

"Missing Waypoints Had a good weekend to do some test flying with the paraglider. The first couple flights were very drunk driver like, and I was able to tame that down with adjustments in the header. But I’m scratching my head with this one.…"

"I’m not having much luck with the full capacity of this new code with my paraglider!! I mounted everything (the brain, GPS, and sensors) up on the swing arm thinking that more resembles the rolling of the aircraft in flight. But then my wires…"

"Chris, I see it now. //5-8 #define TEST_SENSORS 1 // Set 1 for enable, overwrite the servos with the raw IR sensors data, to test orientation. This will overwrite everything. This test is done after you walk away from the computer. With or without…"

"Chris When I load the sensortest.pde software, and then press the serial monitor button in Arduino, I get the readout from each of the sensors and can see them change by covering them individually. But to test the sensors with the new code, I…"

"Supper explanation Jordi, thank you Sir. Wish List: New instructions in the manual on how to use the “Debugging Stuff”. Learned how to calibrate the servos by chance…. At one time, I saw the results of my sensor test, but now…"

"Hi Jordi, For the throttle adjustments in the header, what is the (//3-23 #define throttle_dead_zone 20 //In porcent %) and the (//3-24 #define throttle_absolute 3 //Absolute) adjustments for? Thanks, Brent"

"Yes, It would be nice to add another function to the config tool, to SAVE our different waypoint playgrounds, and if that can be put on the to-do list, that’s OK. The method that Jordi came up with went way over my head. Just too old to…"

"Has anyone thought about fixing the config tool so that we can save our waypoints? It would be nice if we could save different waypoints for different flying fields. I read somewhere that the source code was available, but I wouldn’t know what…"

Profile Information

About Me:
I've always loved flying and electronics. I decided that I wanted to incorporate my paraglider into a UAV, but until I found this site, I thought I was going to have to learn how to program a PIC. That could take a very long time, because software is not my bag.
I love how this site is fresh and full of information. The guys that put this together are geniuses and very unselfish.
Thank you
