30 minute timout on Xbee link. Anyone have this problem?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Sgt Ric May 26, 2012. 3 Replies

I have had several long flights when the Xbee 2.4GHz S2 communication stopped around 30minutes after power up.  This may be something to do with ubunutu/netbook settings instead of the Xbees. I…Continue

I would like to introduce the community to a mixer method used to fly complex aircraft in manual, fly-by-wire and autonomous modes.

The main challenges of mixing are:

  • Flexibility to do anything you want.
  • Easy to use and prevents…

Airspeed control is critical when flying sailplanes.  You want to fly close to stall but never beyond it, since that will normally cause a tip stall and great loss of energy.  How do you teach an autopilot to fly on the edge of stall?…
