"@Veikko - good point.  I was thinking more of the airspeed sensor being used during automated landings.  If there was a good headwind (which we have a lot of in Kansas - 15 - 20 MPH is common).  However with this said, I have a lot to…"

Pitot tube install help

"Nathaniel, The pod on the strut is actually a gsm/gps logger inside an acrylic box that tested some time ago. Normally I keep the Canon IXUS on that strut to shoot aerial photos."

By definition I am extremely uneducated to some. But I can chew gum and talk at the same time.(does that count?)
Tell us a bit about your UAV interest
Began researching and investing in FPV aircraft that are manually controlled. My goal is to try and develope an aircraft that conforms to the latest FAA requirements for unmanned UAS' and do low level aerials up to 1500+

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
