I have an F450 with APM 2.6 running v3.2, with the DJI Opto 30A ESC's.
Since these ESC's are preset at the factory to have a predetermined PWM range, what might be causing the one ESC to be the laggard? That motor starts at about 22% thrott
i am using a 433 mhz, 3dr radio telemetry. i have thought 433 mhz to be of good frequency for a longe range radio telemetry. however when i am using it in the field, i find the range of the telemetry module to be no more than 30 meters radial
So I finished my Tarot 680Pro hexacopter build today, but had some reservations about one of the motors before takeoff. On the bench, I noticed that motor 3 (front left) was not spooling up like the others. Only when I ramped up to 1/4 throttle did
I'm running into an issue with my Pixhawk that hopefully one of you can help me out with.

So I just finished my first build, but before my first test flight, I wanted to ensure everything was as ready as possible while on the bench. I turn on
I can get ardu plane to control minimum pitch on auto take off. I seek to get a steeper climb out angle from hand launch in small areas, but setting NAV_TAKEOFF minimum pitch to say 30 or so has no effect - always climbs away at 15-20 pitch. I have
when logging the data from APM , i get a lot of variables like (IMU, Gyro, etc..)
what does the motor values indicate ? to be more precise , is the number in the chart mean current drawn by the motor ? or (pwm) voltage or what exactly ?
I crashed my Iris+ and broke the gimbal suspension plate. After I replace the plate and put it together the gimbal is not working. Seem to be not power to gimbal. How to check there is power or not.
So I finally added the 6th wire to my version 1 (3DR) telemetry radio and its not receiving any heartbeat packets. And if it does it takes forever to establish a link. Sometimes it only gets 1 Heartbeat packet.
I'm beginning to wonder about all these drone sightings coming in. It seams every day now there is a new report of an airliner seeing a drone flying in their airspace. When I read drone spotted above 3000' AGL I really question the integrity of the s
I am starting a new project which aims to take a live stream from a DSLR type camera (HDMI), and overlay a visual proximity warning system over it. Ideally, i would then like to output this over either an analogue or digital data link.
I have the LidarLite on my quad with a Pixhawk controller running software version 3.2 and I see the ranging values in the setup screen. When the quad is sitting on the ground on the landing gear, the LidarLite is about 50cm above the ground. Does
ive been working on a tricopter for a few weeks in autodesk inventor and am wondering what power setup i should go with and if you guys think this thing will even fly. they are 90mm edf cowls and all three rotate like an osprey, the fuselage can hold
