My video quad keeps having an infuriating major anomaly and as I'm currently vacationing in a very remote spot in Southern Africa I have very limited internet access so is very hard to try debug.
The quad flies perfectly normally in all attitudes and
I have noticed in both real flight and sim modes that a high throttle setting will result in the plane going into a shallow dive that the autopilot does not compensate for in terms of straight and level flight. At first I thought this only happened
During Loiter, my throttle oscillates rather consistantly. The tuning graph suggests that APM is responding to airspeed (as opposed to altitude) because of the frequency of the oscillations and how it relates to my target alt.
Newbie question, I have a APM2 on a flying wing but I want to move it to a normal 4channel high wing plane, I see the connection for the rudder but would like to know if the rudder takes a active part in the auto control scheme or is it just used in
If any of you are UAV operators using drones for inspecting structures, buildings, bridges, etc. either professionally or amateur, I would really love to talk with you to hear about your experiences etc.
After a long delay and a rebuild of my test Mavlink source quad, I'm now able to release a new version of Ardustation software compatible with the latest versions of ACM and APM.
I'm releasing the software now but also plan to provide detailed docum
I would just like to say that I got the first opportunity to fly at an inside football pitch today, I have flown outside in both light and strong wind many times now and its good, but today with no wind was exceptional.
Its been a year since I flew my plane and I'm making a few changes. Mostly I want to be able to fly the plane just using an xbox controller. I have read this post and even asked a few Qs but I'm still stuck.
I'm new to these forums. I was drawn in a number of weeks ago, while 30,000 feet or so in the air, reading an article in WIRED. I never read magazines, except when I'm at an airport, with the anticipation of a long boring flight in a cram
My son and I are interested in getting educated on the ArduCopter. Is there a document or book for beginners? What is the difference between the 3D Robotics and JDrones versions of the ArduCopter?
