The area we are going to has pretty bad aerial photographs on Google Earth and ArcGIS, and they currently have one road map for the whole region which isn't very accurate or detailed at all. Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I have had several RC vehicles in the past, and have read and seen a LOT about quatcoptors and other UAVs online (PopSci, YouTube, TED, etc). I am going on a 3 week service trip to Ghana this summer and want to propose a project using UAVs to take aerial views of the town that has lots of roads but no basic road mapping.
